I not consider myself as an animal lover, but
sometimes they could need our love. I hate when people treat animals like children.
I know some people can’t have kids, and a cat or a dog is a good choice to give
their love.
Probably I´m not an animal lover, because I didn’t
have any pets when I was a child. My mom
never let me have a hamster or a small pet, either a dog or a cat. But
although, when I was 6 years old, I catch some woodlouses and put them in a
box, and I made it my pets. Also I brought the pet of my class to my home
sometimes.
For me, the turtles are the best pets. I don’t know
why but I always want to have a turtle.
About the use of animals for medical research, I’m
totally disagree, because everybody knows that the animals they use are the
most similar to the human, and obviously them have developed feelings. About
the animals in zoo, sometimes they are better there than in the wild life. Some
of those animals were hurt and the people of the zoo helps to recover. And of
course I’m totally disagreeing to wear fur, I think that is cruel, and the
methods of killing are obscene. In relation to that, I signed to PETA to stop
the cruelty, but only about to wear fur and some companies who treat animals in
a cruelty form, like food companies. I’m not vegetarian but I think animals
deserve a good treat.
I’ve been bitten by a dog a few months ago. It was a
little bite in my leg, but it hurts a lot. I think the owners of the dogs
should be responsible and take some precautions, like put a leash and not let
them go out alone.
If I were an animal, I think I would be a turtle. I
said that I like turtles. They haven’t has a fast life, they wait to do things,
and if they be in danger, only have to hide into the shell. Also they represent
the patience and knowledge, virtues that I like to have.
