A Lawyer Worthy of Atention

I know a short list of experts in this field, because I’m only in my first semester, but a person who deserves a lot of attention is my Introduction to Law teacher. Well I “admire” him because in the short time that I been in this university, I have learn a lot of things, and he try to implant his ideas about the different topics of laws.

Pablo Ruiz-Tagle or PR-T, is a lawyer who graduate from this university. He teaches Introduction to Law and Constitutional Law. He did a PhD on Yale, and he also took part to create a new constitution to Chile with the President Frei. He has written some books. For the class I have read “Revisión Crítica del Derecho” and “Ciudadanos En Democracia”, who talks about the ideas that he has about how is the law in Chile and How we should understand it.

The most remarkable about the things that he teaches us, are the ideas of a new and true democracy and the things that the university should give us, all of this accords with the ideas of republicanism in which Andres Bello established the University of Chile and the Civil Code.
